Indiegogo Kickoff! The Village Green Preservation Society! Pee Wee! and More!

Hi Everybody!

Alyssandra, here.  You are cordially invited to the Follow Me Along the Sea Fundraiser Kick-off party!  We're launching our Indie-Gogo Fundraising Campaign for our big adventure at Viento y Agua, the wonderful, eclectic coffeehouse we both work at, with a screening of Pee Wee's Big Adventure,  and a performance by The Villiage Green Preservation Society, a Kink's cover band that I've put together featuring myself, Jon Zielinski, Juan Antonio Lopez, Jeremy Stilgenbauer,  Travis Christopherson, Roland Cruces and Greggory Moore.

Come hang out, chat with us, sing along to your favorite Kink's songs, cower in the presence of Large Marge and hear about our plans for the trip!

I'll also be releasing a single from my new album tomorrow!

6pm at the Viento y Agua Coffeehouse.  Free.  All Ages.  4007 E. 4th St. Long Beach, CA.

Bio: Alyssandra

Alyssandra Nighswonger  is known by her community and everyone she comes in contact with as inspirational, a dream-pusher, limitless. She has the divine craftyness to make anything she imagines a reality. This is expressed through all of her art forms; singing and songwriting, poetry, painting and performance. A local legend in Long Beach, she is a hub in her community, constantly realizing new ideas and events to gather and bond her fellow citizens.

About the time she completed her degree in audio-engineeering, Alyssandra got on her brothers airline "buddy-pass" allowing her to roam the globe cheaply.  Expanding her mucical, social and cultural horizons, traveling abroad and domestically she soon was collaborating with muscians in other states. Alyssandra sang back-up vocals for Joshua Basset (Portland), the lead singer-songerwriter of the band 'Welfare', on the album"I'm going to hurt you anyway", and Joshua was featured on two of aly's soon-to-be-released "When my love knot slips..."

The inspiration of the bicycle tour probably had a lot to do with that collaboration, but it might have had more to do with Aly's broken down jeep. After the breakdown, it was more important to buy an up-right bass then repair the vehical, of course, so she would ride her bike 30 miles to work and back, and then some if she was going anywhere else that day.

Thats the kind of logic you can expect from this passionate woman, you can be sure if you sit down with Aly, the two of you will come up with an out-of-the-box idea, and its going to happen. She'll also be the first to tell you that the only reason your dreams havent come true is because you havent put them into motion yet.

I asked aly. "Is there anything you would want to say about you and your life?"she replied:

"I guess the normal stuff is I work and disneyland (painting names), and serve coffee, I just moved back in with my parents, trying to learn how to be a grown-up. But I'd rather be going on tours and releasing albums."
