This is Chad Sheby. Great story: We have a mutual friend, Matt Proffitt, that played trombone on my album. We were at the session, and I was telling Matt about the bike tour, and he stops for a minute... you know, I've got this friend, who's planning a bike tour, too, and it sound pretty similar. Then... what do you know? I contact Chad, and he was planning the same bike tour, from Portland all the way home to Long Beach, along the coast, and the only difference was that he was leaving a week later! So he bumped his plans up, and is taking the train up to Portland to meet us at the show! Then we'll all ride together!
Bonus points: Chad also just spent a month in Colorado at bike mechanic school.
